Abstract
Abdulla Kahhor is a great storyteller in Uzbek literature and an incomparable master of the genre. He is even called Uzbek Chekhov. His stories reflect the best direction of the Uzbek people –ahealthy mind, the wisdom of life that triumphs over humor. The language of Kahhor`s stories is short, rich in narratives, and devoid of the luxuries and embellishments of traditional Uzbek prose . His story, ‘’The Headless Man ‘’ depicts a life of innocent clothing and inefficiency that has served only misfortunes. The protagonists in it are the ones who don`t care about each other for the sake of their own lives
