Abstract

Teachers of technological education should be able to meet the requirements of their professional
activities, such as knowledge, skills and use of metal-cutting machines. Metal-cutting machines are divided
into 9 groups, each group has about 10 models, which are used in machine-building enterprises. According
to some publications, the total number of metal-cutting machines is more than two thousand. It is impossible
to imagine such a large number of machines without didactic tools and modern information technologies for
the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities in students.
