Abstract

This article compares the physical and mechanical properties of yarn obtained from T=27 tex by placing an additional fiber flow compactor between the first and second pair of stretchers on a ring spinning machine. The coefficient of variation of the thread number is 3.8%, the coefficient of variation of the unevenness of the thread is 5.2 sq.m, the thinning of the thread is 11% at -40 m / km, the knots in the thread neps 200% / km 13.1. An improvement in yarn hairiness by H 3.4% was studied and the necessary conclusions were presented.
