Abstract

The purpose of the study was to study the morphological changes in the thyroid gland during experimental hypothyroidism. The experiments were carried out on 28 white outbred rats, which were divided into control and experimental groups. It was found that in experimental hypothyroidism in the thyroid gland of laboratory white rats dystrophic, atrophic and destructive changes in hepatocytes develop. These changes are most pronounced on the 60th day of the experiment. By the end of the experiment, these phenomena are even more aggravated.
