Abstract

This article briefly reveals the features of the socio-political development of Uzbekistan in the years of independence, in particular, the measures taken during the years of independence by the country's leadership and the conditions created for the favorable and peaceful development of interethnic and interfaith relations in our country, as well as the distinctive features of the Uzbek people in matters of ensuring religious tolerance and interethnic harmony in Uzbekistan.
