Abstract

Health monitoring has always been one of the most critical issues of healthcare. In recent years, the use of cutting-edge technology in healthcare has helped both healthcare professionals and patients. Therefore, given the fact that these technologies are based on wireless sensing technologies, they allow remote monitoring. With this technology, patients instead of staying in the hospital for hours and hours, can stay home and communicate with their doctors online and it is easily monitored the health status of patients in real-time [1].This paper presents a review of vital signs used to measure in real-time health monitoring systems. Furthermore, the main vital signs such as body temperature, blood pressure, pulse (heart rate), and breathing rate (respiratory rate) and their measured sensors will be presented.
