Abstract

Due to the development of information technology in the 21st century, the role of automation and smart technologies in various aspects of human life is increasing. The application of smart technologies in various fields is showing its effectiveness. One such area is the mining sector. The safety of life of the representatives of this industry is always important. The reason is that all the work is done underground, so there is a high probability of man-made emergencies. This paper reviews the issue of the role of smart technologies in ensuring the safety of miners in mining emergencies.
