Abstract

The article uses statistical, comparative, quantitative and qualitative methods, to
determine the frequency of using certain translation strategies for translating CSIs (in the dumb
luck novel). This study will provide results that help translators understand better how to use
CSI translation strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of their work in the best way, how to
preserve Uzbek cultural values when translate Uzbek to English.
