Abstract

Robot dedicated to the category of gender of the overwhelming majority of animate nouns is characterized by a semantic two-term opposition: masculine and feminine. Thus, the syntactic properties of names are recognized as decisive when attributing them to one or another generic class, and the syntactic nature of genus-marking facts is put forward as the most relevant object of linguistic research.
