INFLUENCE OF FAMILY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL LITERACY OF CHILDREN

At a time when our country is rapidly developing for innovative development, it is necessary to fully support the creative ideas and creativity of young people, develop their knowledge, skills and abilities, improve the assessment system based on best international experience, international standards and requirements. It is important that a comprehensive comparative analysis of the existing system, the cooperation of closely related international and foreign organizations, agencies and research institutes. To this end, the National Center for the Implementation of International Studies under the State Inspectorate for Education Quality Control was established by Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for organizing international studies in the field of assessing the quality of education in the public education system" No. 997 dated December 8, 2018. At the same time, tasks were identified for participation in international studies to assess the quality of education. One of the international assessment programs is PISA (Program for International Student Assessment)). Determining the level of students' functional and mathematical literacy is the key to the PISA program. This article reveals the essence of the concepts of functional and mathematical literacy of students, family factors affecting the functional and mathematical literacy of children aged 3 to 10 years, and the results of their research from questionnaires with parents and teachers of educational institutions. These conclusions are summarized based on the analysis of international researchers based on the results of international assessments.
