Abstract

The cellular structure without disturbing the vital activity of the whole organism, contributes to the gradual replacement of dying or pathologically changed parts of the body with new ones. Only with the cellular structural structure is the organisms' ability to store and transfer energy and turn it into work. Finally, the separation of functions between cells in a multicellular organism provided ample opportunities for the adaptation of organisms to the environment and was a prerequisite for the complexity of the organization.
