Abstract

In the northern part of Namangan region, at an altitude of 790 m above sea level, it is located vertically from the foothills of Mount Karatov to the city of Namangan (32 km). It is bordered by the city of Namangan in the south, Yangikurgan district in the east, Chust district in the south-west, and Ala-Buka district of the Kyrgyz Republic in the north and west. The area is 0.51 thousand km2 (6.85% of the region's territory).
