CHARACTERISTICS OF A SYSTEMIC APPROACH TO LANGUAGE
Main Article Content
Abstract
The systematic approach had a great influence on the science of linguistics, and on the basis of this methodology there were revolutionary changes in linguistics. In particular, the formation of the direction of structuralism in the 1920s, in connection with which the emergence of a system-structural approach and functional analysis is proof of our opinion. Accordingly, the existence of structures is a general sign of system city, and the study of any system begins with the emergence of its structures. E. Benvenist writes: “To interpret language as a system is to analyze its structure. "Any system consists of interdependent units, elements, which differ from other systems by their structure, the internal relations between the units that make up the structure." Accordingly, language is a system, and grammar is a structure that allows language to function as a means of communication.
