Abstract

The following article is about Heo Hwang-ok who is a legendary queen mentioned in Samguk Yusa (Memorabilia of the Three Kingdom) According to Samguk Yusa she became the wife of King Suro of Geumgwan Gaya at the age of 16, after having arrived by boat from a distant kingdom, making her the first queen of Geumgwan Gaya. In the beginning, in this article is given basic information about Queen and his Husband King of Kaya, named Suro and effect of this international marriage to clan of Korean folk. Moreover, anaylizing opinions and research of Historians we will try to define that Is Queen Hwan Ok just a myth or a historical fact?
