Abstract

The article discusses the definitions of the concept of gender by a number of scientists, as well as the fact that the concept of gender is understood as a social construct, without expressing the differences in biological properties between man and woman. The article focuses on the analysis of the concept of gender in the work of a number of foreign scientists and discusses the role of genes in linguistics.
