TO THE QUESTION OF IMPROVING THE DESIGN OF THE DEVICE FOR DETERMINING THE CONTAMINATION OF RAW COTTON

Abstract

The review and analysis of methods for controlling contamination of raw cotton in the context of the search for an accelerated method for controlling contamination of raw cotton when receiving from farms is presented. It is noted that the existing methods of optical scanning give a good correlation with the gravimetric method on cotton fiber, and in raw cotton gives large errors. Therefore, it was concluded that it is necessary to improve the gravimetric method of contamination control with mechanical separation of trash impurities with the automation of the cleaning process of raw cotton with a reduction in cleaning time, combining automatic weighing and processing of results with the output of the result on a digital display.
